Job Description
We are looking for an Architectural Project Manager with strong planning, coordination, and execution skills to lead complex architectural projects from concept through delivery.
The successful candidate is highly structured, detail-oriented, and excels at planning and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. You will take ownership of project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring alignment between design intent, production constraints, and delivery timelines. Working closely with internal teams, clients, architects, and consultants, you will proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables
• Develop, formalize, track, and continuously update detailed project schedules and execution plans
• Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and coordination
• Translate design concepts into feasible technical and production strategies
• Coordinate internal teams across design, engineering, production, and quality assurance
• Create and oversee detailed shop drawings and technical documentation
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and report regularly to senior management
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
Skills
• Strong project planning, scheduling, communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase architectural projects
• Proficient in Rhino/3D (minimum 2+ years)
• Advanced proficiency in CAD; strong understanding of 3D and graphics-based software
• 3–8 years of experience working in an architectural office or related environment
• Experience detailing construction documents; complex geometry experience is a plus
• Construction scheduling and coordination experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive teams toward effective, creative solutions
Requirements
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English; French, Dutch, German, or Spanish are a plus
• Experience working in an international business environment
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage feedback and expectations effectively
• Must be based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate
