We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our architectural products manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, specifically in the areas of metal cutting, metal bending, and PET. Experience with CNC or Press Break machinery is desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machinery and Press Break equipment to cut, bend, and shape metal and PET materials according to specified blueprints and designs.
  • Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available.
  • Effectively monitor production equipment.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
  • Adhere to all safety protocol, including use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Read and interpret work orders and designs to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Keep detailed records of operations and production reports.
Qualifications:
  • MBO or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of diverse production machinery (CNC, Laser Cutter, Press Break) and measurement tools.
  • Understanding of production procedures.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Completion of a vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset.
The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and safety standards is key.
