Freelancer, Part-time · Amsterdam

Job Description

About the job
Our growing company is seeking a Knit Programmer/Developer to complement our knit product development and production team. The Knit Programmer/Developer should have a passion for knit and materials, and the experience and technical expertise to back this up.  The Knit Programmer/Developer should have experience in programming and operating industrial flat-bed knitting machines, as well as understanding the material landscape and production processes specific to knit. While collaborating with our in-house design and production team, the Knit Programmer/Developer will be constantly prototyping, and consistently working towards taking our products and solutions to the design community.

Working closely with Ownership and Senior Design staff, the Knit Programmer/Developer will not only be able to create beautiful works, but will see their work installed and displayed through Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
