Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Finance Manager who can take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration and reporting while also improving processes and ensuring compliance. You’ll be the go-to person for accounting, payroll, tax, and financial reporting across the Netherlands and UK operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the full cycle of accounting, work closely with external auditors and advisors, and directly support leadership with financial insights.

- Manage accounting across AP, AR, General Ledger, and inventory transactions
- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Prepare and post credit card statements and monthly journals (depreciation, salaries, loans, etc.)
- Manage payroll for UK employees and prepare sales commission statements
- Support balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reporting, inventory reporting, and cashflow oversight
- Maintain company-related insurances and liaise with auditors
- Write and implement SOPs for finance processes to ensure compliance
- Handle ad hoc finance-related tasks to support the business
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 4–7 years’ experience in accounting/finance, ideally in an international SME or scale-up with manufacturing or inventory exposure
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP, VAT, and general compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with ERP/finance systems (Exact online/Dynamics)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Fluent English; Professional working Dutch
